With over thirty years of professional historical research and archival experience, I work with individuals, institutions, foundations, and businesses to help them achieve their goals of preserving their history and legacy.
My experience can guide your history project from start to finish. I organize and develop new archives and conduct research in existing collections. I create digital content, write articles and books, give presentations, and teach classes.
What I am working on right now…
- Research to inform the restoration of A-18, James J. Hill’s private rail car. The restoration project is led by the Minnesota Transportation Museum. My research focuses on 1900-1959, before A-18 was sold to the Eureka Western Railway in California.
